# API Roots

> Discover available API roots and server capabilities through Pulsedive's TAXII server endpoints.

An API root is the base path for accessing STIX data through TAXII.
Pulsedive provides one API root (`/taxii2/api/`) that contains all available collections.

Use the API root endpoints to:

* Discover server capabilities
* List available collections
* Verify server connectivity
