# Connecting to the Pulsedive Docs MCP server

> Connect Claude, Cursor, and other AI tools to a read-only MCP server so they can search Pulsedive's documentation directly.

Pulsedive publishes a read-only MCP (Model Context Protocol) server for this documentation site.
When you connect an AI tool to it, the tool can search and retrieve current Pulsedive documentation while it answers your questions, instead of relying on training data that might be outdated or incomplete.
Connecting doesn't require a Pulsedive account or API key.

## Quick Setup

If you're already familiar with setting up connectors in your AI tool, use this URL for the Pulsedive Docs MCP server:

```text theme={null}
https://docs.pulsedive.com/mcp
```

Our docs don't require authentication, so you won't be prompted to log in.

## Connect Your AI Tool

Setup steps differ by tool, but the pattern is the same throughout: point the tool at the server URL above, and skip any authentication step since none is required.

## Using the Connection

Once you're connected, ask questions about Pulsedive as you normally would, and your AI tool will decide on its own when to search these docs for an answer instead of relying on what it already knows.
